Three places to start
Property sign
Open the listing for that address.
Open-house handout
Keep photos, floor plans and contact details together.
Agent card
Save contact information for a later conversation.
Give each property its own destination
Link the sign to the specific listing, not a search page where the buyer must enter the address again. A dynamic website code can point to a listing you already maintain. A List of links page can bring together the listing, a floor-plan PDF and a contact option.
Keep the address visible on both the sign and the destination. Use only property images and documents you have permission to share, and remove personal information from floor plans or handouts before publishing.
Make changes clear when the listing changes
Assign the listing agent or an operations team member to review the destination when a property sells, is withdrawn or has a new open-house date. An old sign should not imply that a property is still available.
If you reuse a dynamic code, explain the changed status first. Redirecting a buyer from a specific property to an unrelated promotion without context is confusing, even when the code technically works.
Test from a safe viewing position
A roadside sign must be usable by someone who can safely stop. Do not expect people to scan while driving. Check the code from the sidewalk at the distance where a visitor will naturally stand, and include a readable address or website as an alternative.
For open houses, test the destination on mobile data as well as the property’s Wi-Fi. Large image galleries and documents can be slow; prioritize the information needed to decide whether to get in touch.
Questions worth settling first
Does the code update my property listing automatically?
No. It opens the destination you select. Maintain listing information in your existing website or update the hosted QR content yourself.
Can I see which people scanned the sign?
Scan analytics show activity and available aggregate breakdowns. A scan alone does not identify a prospective buyer; they need to choose to contact you.
